What is a .ANIME file?
A .ANIME file is a type of document specifically created using Anime Studio version 11 or newer versions up until version 12. Anime Studio is a software program designed for drawing and creating animations. The content of an ANIME file includes an .ANIMEPROJ data file, which holds the project's main data, and a project thumbnail, which is stored as a .JPG file. Both of these components are compressed together using Zip compression to make the file easier to manage and transfer.
With the release of Anime Studio version 12, the .ANIME file format was phased out and replaced by the .MOHO file format. Therefore, newer versions of the software do not use the .ANIME format.
To open an .ANIME file, you can use programs such as Lost Marble Moho Debut or Lost Marble Moho Pro.
