What is a .SBPAGE file?
An .SBPAGE file is a type of digital file used to store a scrapbook page. This file was specifically created by the fourth version of a software program called Creative Memories Storybook Creator, which is no longer available. The .SBPAGE file is essentially a compressed folder (using Zip compression) that holds all the elements of a scrapbook page. These elements can include text, various shapes, images, and also metadata, which provides additional information about the layout and content of the page.
Since the original software, Creative Memories Storybook Creator, has been discontinued, these files are now primarily opened with a program called FOREVER Artisan. FOREVER Artisan is the software that succeeded Creative Memories Storybook Creator. It uses new types of files, named .ARTPAGE and .A6PAGE, for its fifth and sixth versions, respectively. However, FOREVER Artisan still supports opening the older .SBPAGE files from the previous software version. This allows users to access and edit their older scrapbook projects using the newer software.
