What is a .WIOT file?
A .WIOT file is a type of file that has been taken over and locked by a harmful computer program called WIOT ransomware. This ransomware is a type of malware, which means it's software designed to harm or exploit any computer it infects. The WIOT ransomware changes the names of regular files like documents, songs, videos, or images to end with .WIOT, making them inaccessible. Essentially, the ransomware "kidnaps" these files and demands payment to unlock them.
