What is a .BC file?
A .BC file is a type of file that isn't fully downloaded yet. It's created by a program called BitComet, which people use to share files with each other over the internet using something called BitTorrent technology. When you're downloading a file with BitComet and it's not finished yet, maybe because you paused it or there was a problem with the internet, it gets saved as a .BC file. This means the download isn't complete, but you haven't lost all progress. You can usually continue downloading the file later if you want, as long as the file is still being shared by others.
To open a .BC file, you need to use BitComet. This program understands that the .BC file isn't complete and will try to finish downloading it for you. If everything goes well, once the download is finished, the file will change from a .BC file to its proper file type, like a video or music file, and then you can use it as intended.
It's important to know that if your internet connection stops working while downloading, BitComet is pretty good at picking up where it left off. This means you won't have to start the download from the beginning again. However, this only works if the file you're downloading is still available from other people using BitComet. Other programs that download files from BitTorrent might save unfinished downloads with a different extension, like .TORRENT, which is not the same as .BC.
