What is a .COURSE file?
A .COURSE file is a type of file used in a game called Super Mario ReMaker. This game is a fan-made version for computers of the popular Wii game, Super Mario Maker. In Super Mario ReMaker, players can design and build their own levels or courses for Super Mario to navigate. These custom levels are saved as .COURSE files.
The .COURSE file contains all the details of the level you create. This includes how long the level is (course width), how much time you have to complete the level (course time), and where various objects and obstacles are placed throughout the level.
To work with .COURSE files, you use the Super Mario ReMaker program. When you start the program, you can choose "Make" from the main screen to start creating a new level. Once you are done designing your level, you can save it by clicking "Save," which creates a .COURSE file. If you want to work on a previously saved level, you can select "Load" to open an existing .COURSE file.
If you want to play a level that you or someone else has created, you simply choose "Play" from the main screen of Super Mario ReMaker and then load the .COURSE file you want to play.
Remember, since Super Mario ReMaker is a fan-made game, it is not an official Nintendo product, but it allows fans of the original game to explore their creativity in designing new Super Mario levels.
