What is a .DCOVER file?

A .DCOVER file is a type of file used for creating the artwork that goes on CDs or DVDs. This artwork can include pictures, text, and the overall design that you see on the top of a disc. The program that is used to make these designs is called Disc Cover. With Disc Cover, you can create a beautiful and professional-looking label for your disc, which can then be printed directly onto the disc itself or saved as a different type of file, like a .JPEG, .PDF, or .TIFF file, to be printed later.

If you have a .DCOVER file, you can open it using a program called Roxio Popcorn or another program called BeLight Disc Cover. Roxio Popcorn is part of a bigger software package, and it includes a special version of Disc Cover called Disc Cover RE (Roxio Edition). This means if you have Roxio Popcorn, you can work with .DCOVER files as part of its features.

It's important to know that BeLight Disc Cover, the original program for creating .DCOVER files, has been replaced by a new program called BeLight Swift Publisher. Swift Publisher doesn't use .DCOVER files; instead, it saves files in a different format called .SPUB. So, if you're using the latest software from BeLight, you won't be able to open .DCOVER files directly in Swift Publisher.
