To create a .DXB file using the Duxbury Braille Translator, you would typically go to the "File" menu, then choose "Save" or "Save as...". Here, you can name your file, select where you want to save it on your computer, and then click "Save" to store the file.
To open an existing .DXB file with the Duxbury Braille Translator, you would again go to the "File" menu, but this time select "Open...". Then, find the .DXB file you want to open, select it, and click "Open" to view the file in the program.
While the Duxbury Braille Translator is the primary software for handling .DXB files, there were other programs like Duxbury MegaDots and CASC Braille 2000 that also supported this file type, but these programs are no longer available.
