The reason it's called "Quick Slot 0" is because these emulators typically offer multiple slots for saving game states - usually ten, labeled from .gs0 to .gs9. Each slot (.gs0, .gs1, .gs2, etc.) represents a different save point. The .GS0 file is the first of these slots. This system makes it easy for players to manage multiple save points in a game without overwriting previous progress.
To open a .GS0 file, you would need to use a Sega Genesis emulator like Kega Fusion or Gens/GS. These programs mimic the Sega Genesis console on your computer, allowing you to play the games.
