An editor can then open this .INCP file in Adobe InCopy to make changes or edits to the text. 3. After editing, the editor sends the document back to the designer as an .INDP package. 4. The designer can then import this .INDP file back into the original Adobe InDesign document (.INDD file) using the Adobe InDesign program.
It's important to note that starting from Adobe InDesign and InCopy CS4, the program uses a different file extension, .ICAP, for InCopy package files. This means that if you are using a version of InDesign or InCopy that is CS4 or later, you will be dealing with .ICAP files instead of .INCP files for packaging documents for remote editing.
