What is a .KPP file?
The .KPP file extension is used for presentations made in Kid Pix, which is a fun program designed for children to create art. These presentations are like a digital slideshow, filled with different images and objects that kids have put together using the tools in Kid Pix. Imagine it like a storybook or a comic strip that your child has created, but on the computer. To make a .KPP file, or in other words, to save your child's artwork as a presentation, you would use the Kid Pix software and choose the option called "SlideShow To Go." This lets you turn the artwork into a slideshow that can be viewed one slide at a time, just like a PowerPoint presentation, but much more fun and colorful, designed with kids in mind.
If you have a .KPP file that you or your child wants to open and view, you will need to use Kid Pix software. Specifically, you can open these files with "The Learning Company Kid Pix Deluxe." This version of Kid Pix has the capability to open, view, and even edit .KPP files. So, if your child wants to go back and add more to their presentation or just watch what they've created, they would need to do it through this program.
