What is a .NFI file?
A .NFI file is a special type of data file that is used by the Netflix app on Android and iOS devices. This file contains important information about movies or TV shows that you download from Netflix to watch offline. When you download a show or movie from Netflix, the app creates an NFI file and saves it on your device, along with some other files like .MANIFEST, .NFV, .NFA, and .NFS. These files work together to let you watch your downloaded content without needing an internet connection.
To open an NFI file, you don't need to do anything special because it's handled automatically by the Netflix app on your device. Whether you're using an Android phone, tablet, iPhone, or iPad, the Netflix app can manage these files for you.
Here's more about how it works: The Netflix app for Android and iOS lets you download a wide range of movies and TV shows so you can watch them even when you're not connected to the internet. However, not all titles on Netflix can be downloaded; only those with a download icon next to their name are available for offline viewing. You can easily find which titles are downloadable by selecting "Available for Download" from the Netflix app menu. Once you find something you want to watch offline, just tap the download icon next to it. After the download is complete, you can find and play your downloaded shows and movies in the "My Downloads" section of the app.
If you ever need to delete a downloaded movie or show from your device, the process is simple. On Android, open the Netflix app, go to "My Downloads," tap the pencil edit icon in the top right, and then tap the red "X" to remove the title. On iOS, the process is similar: open the app, go to "My Downloads," tap "Edit," and then tap the red "X" to delete the title.
Remember, to download content from Netflix, your Android device needs to be running version 4.4.2 or later, and your iOS device needs iOS 8.0 or later. Also, make sure you have the latest version of the Netflix app installed.
