What is a .NSR file?

Since the .NSR format is deprecated, it's recommended to use the latest version of Nessus, which utilizes the .NESSUS format for security reports. If you have older .NSR files, Nessus should still be able to open them, but for ongoing and future scans, the reports will be in the .NESSUS format.
