What is a .OCE file?
The .OCE file extension stands for Open Catalog Extension Connection File. Once created, these files are usually saved in a folder named "Open Catalog Extensions." It's interesting to note that Brio Intelligence, a program that can also work with .OCE files, was actually bought by Hyperion back in 2004. Then, a few years later in 2007, Oracle, a very big company in the database world, acquired Hyperion. This means that the technology behind .OCE files and the programs that can open them has been developed and supported by some of the biggest names in the industry.
