What is a .P3T file?
A .P3T file is a special kind of file that is used to change how a Sony PlayStation 3 video game system looks and sounds. To get new themes onto your PS3, you can download them directly using the PS3's internet browser. Once you've found a theme you like, you can download it and install it to change how your PS3 looks.
If you want to open or work with these .P3T files on a computer, you can use a program called P3T Unpacker. This program lets you see and maybe even change what's inside the .P3T file.
To add a new theme to your PS3, you can transfer the .P3T file from your computer to the PS3 using a Memory Stick or a USB cable. When you connect the storage device to your PS3, you need to make sure you place the .P3T file in the right folder. This folder is called "THEME" and it's located in the "PS3" directory on your storage device. If you don't see a "THEME" folder already there, you'll need to create one yourself. After you've transferred the .P3T file to the correct folder, you can then apply the new theme from your PS3's settings menu.
