What is a .PFS file?
A .PFS file is a special kind of file used by a program called PhotoFiltre Studio, which is a tool for editing pictures. Think of it as a way to tell the program where to draw shapes on a picture. Inside this file, there are instructions that look like a list of points or spots. The program uses these points to draw straight lines between them, kind of like connecting the dots. When it connects all the dots, it makes a shape. This is helpful when you want to work on just a part of your picture, like if you wanted to change the color of just one object in the photo.
These .PFS files are written in a simple way that computers and people can read, similar to how you would write notes in a text file. But instead of ending in .TXT like normal text files, they end in .PFS to show that they are for PhotoFiltre Studio.
To open a .PFS file, you need to use PhotoFiltre Studio X, which is a specific version of the PhotoFiltre Studio program. When PhotoFiltre Studio X reads the .PFS file, it looks at all the points listed and draws lines between them on your picture. It starts at the first point you listed, connects it to the next one, and keeps going until it gets to the last point. Then, it draws a line back to the first point to complete the shape.
Even though a .PFS file might just seem like a simple text file, it's saved with the .PFS ending so that PhotoFiltre Studio knows it's a set of instructions for drawing shapes, not just a regular document to read.
