What is a .PNC file?
A .PNC file is a type of image file specifically created by Panasonic network video cameras. These cameras are often used for security monitoring, capturing images of areas that need surveillance. The content inside a PNC file is an image, similar to a common JPEG image, but saved in a format unique to Panasonic cameras, known as the PNC format.
To view images stored in .PNC files, you must use a specific program called the Panasonic Network Camera SD Viewer. This software is designed to work with the PNC file format, allowing users to open and view the images captured by Panasonic's network cameras. Other general image viewing programs will not be able to open PNC files because they do not recognize the unique format.
