What is a .RZX file?
The .RZX file extension is used for files that have been encrypted, or locked, using a program called File Crypt. This means that the information inside the file has been turned into a code that can't be read or used by anyone who doesn't have the special key, usually a password, to unlock it. This is done to keep the data safe and private, so only people who are meant to see it can do so.
File Crypt, the software used to create these encrypted files, is available for free. It's also known by two other names: Kriptirnik and Akte Krypta. These are just different names for the same program, which might be used in different places or contexts.
To open a file with the .RZX extension, you need to use the Red Zion File Crypt program, or one of its other names, Akte Krypta or Kriptirnik. When you try to open an .RZX file with one of these programs, it will ask you for a password. This password is the key to decrypting, or unlocking, the file so you can see the information inside as it was originally before being encrypted.
Without the correct password, it's nearly impossible to access the contents of an .RZX file, making it a secure way to store sensitive information that you don't want others to access without permission.
