What is a .TMDX file?
A .TMDX file is a type of document that you can create using a program called TextMaker. TextMaker is a part of SoftMaker Office, which is a suite of programs similar to Microsoft Office but made by a different company. These documents can include a variety of things such as written words (text), pictures (images), shapes or drawings (drawn objects), and the way pages are set up (page formatting properties). The .TMDX format is the newer version used by TextMaker. Before this, TextMaker used a different format called .TMD for saving documents. So, if you have been using TextMaker for a long time, you might see both .TMD and .TMDX files, but the newer ones will be .TMDX.
If you have a .TMDX file and you want to open it, you will need to use SoftMaker Office. This software is available for computers and also for Android devices. On Android, there is a specific version called SoftMaker Office HD: TextMaker BASIC+ that can open these .TMDX files. This means whether you are on a computer or using an Android tablet or phone, you can view and edit your TextMaker documents as long as you have the appropriate version of SoftMaker Office installed.
