What is a .WSVE file?
A .WSVE file is a type of file used by the Mac version of a video editing program called Wondershare Filmora. This program lets people create their own videos by adding different things like music, special effects, and text. The .WSVE file keeps all the parts of a video project, so you can work on it more later. It's like saving a draft of your video that you can open and change anytime you want.
To open a .WSVE file, you need to use the Wondershare Filmora software on a Mac computer. This is the only program that can work with these files properly.
It's important to know that Wondershare Filmora used to save files differently on Windows computers, using a .WVE extension instead. But after December 2018, when they released a new version called Filmora9, they started using a new file format called .WFP for all projects. Even though they changed the format, you can still open and work with .WSVE and .WVE files in Filmora9 and any newer versions of the software.
With a .WSVE file, you can choose to turn your video project into a finished video in many different formats, like .MOV, .MP4, and others. You can also share your finished video directly to places like YouTube, Facebook, or even burn it onto a DVD.
Remember, Wondershare Filmora was once known by a different name, Wondershare Video Editor, but it's the same program that lets you create and edit videos.
