What is a .XGDW file?
An .XGDW file is a special type of file used by a program called GDevelop. GDevelop is a tool that lets people make their own video games without needing to know how to code. When someone is making a game in GDevelop, they can choose extra features, called extensions, to add more cool stuff to their game. These extensions can do lots of things like adding new types of objects to your game, creating special effects, or making new actions happen. When you pick an extension and then turn your game project (which is saved as a .GDG file) into a game that can run on a computer (this is called compiling), the program creates an .XGDW file for each extension you chose. This .XGDW file has all the information needed to add the chosen feature to your game. So, if you picked three different extensions, you'll find three .XGDW files in your game's folder, along with the game's .EXE file (which is the game itself) and some .DLL files (which help the game run).

If you double-click on it, you can see all the different extensions you can add to your game.
