.EIT File Extension

A .EIT file is a Yozo Office Template File, created by Yozosoft.

Open with Yozosoft Yozo Office. Available for Linux and Windows.

What is a .EIT file?

The .EIT file extension stands for a Yozo Office Template File. This type of file is created using Yozo Office, which was previously known as Evermore Integrated Office. Yozo Office is a suite of tools used for creating various office documents.

An .EIT file contains a template that has pre-set configurations tailored to a specific theme. These themes can vary, including options like a default setup, a presentation layout, a spreadsheet format, or a word processor document style. This makes it easier for users to start a new document with a consistent style or format, without having to set up everything from scratch each time.

The .EIT file is similar to the .ECT file, which is also associated with Yozo Office.

To open an .EIT file, you need to use Yozosoft Yozo Office. This program allows you to utilize the template stored within the .EIT file to create new documents based on the template’s predefined settings.

If you want to find where these templates are stored on your computer, you can look in the Templates directory under the Yozo Office installation path, typically found at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Yozosoft\Yozo_Office\Templates. Inside this directory, you'll find folders named Default Template, Presentation, Spreadsheet, and Word Processor, each containing preloaded .EIT files.

Creating your own .EIT file is straightforward in Yozo Office: 1. Open Yozo Office and select File → New. Choose one of the Binder options to start a new document. 2. Once your document is open, go to File → Save or Save As... You can also click the floppy disk icon located at the top-left of the window. 3. In the Save As dialog box, select .EIT from the "Save as type:" dropdown menu. 4. Name your file, choose where to save it (it defaults to the UserTemplates folder), and then click Save.

This process allows you to create personalized templates that can be reused for future documents, enhancing efficiency and maintaining consistency in document formatting and setup.
