Within E-Prime, after you finish designing your experiment in E-Studio, you can prepare it for execution by selecting "Run → Generate" from the menu. When you're ready to conduct the experiment with participants, you choose "Run → Run." These project files are particularly useful in behavioral research, where understanding human responses under various conditions is crucial. Researchers in fields like psychology, neuroscience, and social sciences often use E-Prime for their experimental setups.
It's important to note that earlier versions of E-Studio, such as version 1, save files with a .ES extension, which is different from the .ES2 extension used by E-Studio 2.0.
