What is a .FRS file?
A .FRS file is a special kind of computer file used with a program called Flash Renamer. Flash Renamer is a tool that helps people change the names of lots of files all at once, instead of having to rename each file one by one. This can save a lot of time, especially if you have many files to rename.
The .FRS file contains a set of instructions or rules. These rules tell Flash Renamer what changes to make to the names of the files. For example, the rules might tell the program to add a date to the beginning of each file name, or to replace certain words in the file names with other words. By using these rules, Flash Renamer knows exactly how you want the file names to be changed.
To create these .FRS files, you use the Scripting feature inside the Flash Renamer program. This feature lets you set up your renaming rules exactly how you want them. Once you've created an .FRS file with your rules, you can use it to rename batches of files quickly and easily.
If you have an .FRS file and you want to use it, you need to have the RL Vision Flash Renamer program installed on your computer. This is the only program that can open and use .FRS files. Once you have Flash Renamer, you can load your .FRS file into the program, and it will use the instructions in the file to rename your files according to the rules you've set up.
